Mrs. Richard's Fourth Grade Class
Welcome to my fourth grade classroom. We have many exciting things planned this year. Remember to check back in on Thursdays for updates and upcoming events.
A peek into our week...
Welcome to my classroom! I am very excited to have the privilege of working with your children! Thank you all so much for your help with our Valentine's Day celebration! I would also like to thank you for the gifts...they really touched my heart! This week we are wrapping up our units on division and writing a book review. Please continue to help your child master multiplication facts up to twleve! In Bible we are learning about Jesus having victory over death! Want to hear an example of this? Ask your child all about it!
*Special Note: I will be going on the Middle School field trip with my daughter. Please keep us in prayer to have a safe and fun trip! (Mrs. Rose will be substituting for me- she's awesome- so they will be in very good hands!)
About Mrs. Richard
I am a dedicated Christian and in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I have a wonderful husband and four fantastic kids! I am very blessed! I am originally from Michigan (brrrr!) and moved here to (sunny) Florida about five years ago. My favorite animal is the dolphin. I like the color purple and love those adorable Peanuts cartoon strips!
I believe every child can learn when (s)he exercises dedication, effort, and responsibility. In my classroom you will find a challenging environment where children feel safe and know that they are valued. My goal is to see them leave my classroom with a deeper knowledge of our wonderful Lord, better students, and life-long learners!
Something to chew on...
Because of His love we are made right in His sight. Once we have accepted this love, we never need to walk alone on this road of life again!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16

His Love
His love for me can help though the darkest nights.
It can look fear in the eye, and make it run away.
When I trust in Him I know everything will be alright.
He can turn the darkest storm into the brightest day.
Now I am flying high, but not alone.
For, I'll never fly solo again.
I can walk with ease with Jesus by my side.
He's my eternal trusted friend.
The more I come to know Him
The more on Him I depend.
All I have to do is look ahead
Because He does not care where I have been.

Bible Memory Verses
(2/10) But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death. -James 1:14-15(2/17) No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you ne tempted beyond what you can bear. But when are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
(2/24) For it is by grace you have ben saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.
(3/2) Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."-Hebrews 13:5
