Mrs. Richard's Fourth Grade Class

Welcome to my fourth grade classroom. We have many exciting things planned this year. Remember to check back in on Thursdays for updates and upcoming events.

A peek into our week...

Welcome to my classroom! I am very excited to have the privilege of working with your children! The kids are all looking forward to having fun during the Excel Olympics on Friday, March 27th! Then next week we will celebrate our school spirit with Spirit Week! Each day will have its own theme. Look below to see what excititing theme each day will bring! Which day is your child most looking forward to? Ask your child all about it!

About Mrs. Richard

I am a dedicated Christian and in love with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I have a wonderful husband and four fantastic kids! I am very blessed! I am originally from Michigan (brrrr!) and moved here to (sunny) Florida about five years ago. My favorite animal is the dolphin. I like the color purple and love those adorable Peanuts cartoon strips!

I believe every child can learn when (s)he exercises dedication, effort, and responsibility. In my classroom you will find a challenging environment where children feel safe and know that they are valued. My goal is to see them leave my classroom with a deeper knowledge of our wonderful Lord, better students, and life-long learners!

Something to chew on...

Mother's Love

Her love is like

an island in life's ocean,

vast and wide

A peaceful, quiet shelter

From the wind, the rain, the tide.

'Tis bound on the north by Hope,

By Patience on the west,

By tender Counsel on the south

And on the east by Rest.

Above it like a beacon light

Shine Faith, and Truth, and Prayer;

And thro' the changing scenes of life

I find a haven there.
