Welcome to Excel Christian Academy High School Page

The last day of school is fast approaching... all students must complete the required PACEs for each mandatory subject by Friday, May 24th in order to pass the course.  Course incompletion will result in mandatory summer school.

Thank you for all of the Teacher Appreciation goodies!  Mrs. Strickland and Mrs. Keim loved each one of them.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

REMINDERS - 2nd Semester - 2012-2013 School Year

Please make sure that your child has the following items each school day so that he/she will be well prepared for learning:

PENCIL

NOTEBOOK PAPER and/or SPIRAL NOTEBOOK

SUBJECT BOOKS

PEN

HIGHLIGHTER

Leave the following items at HOME as they are distracting to the student and they negatively affect the learning process:

CELL PHONES

IPODS (MP3 players with pre-downloaded music are provided for high school students)

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

As per the student handbook, students who are seen texting, calling, listening to music, etc. on an electronic device or cell phone are required to turn their device in to an administrator. The student's parent must see the administrator in order to retrieve the item.

Students have access to a telephone in the school office for emergencies throughout the school day.

HIGH SCHOOL OVERVIEW:

ECA is excited to announce the addition of our high school program this school year.  Our high school students are using the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum.

The A.C.E. curriculum was developed with a focus on individualized learning at a mastery level.  Individualization helps produce academic excellence. Students using the A.C.E. program continue to demonstrate above-average achievement. One reason is that they take responsibility for their own learning. Additionally, they receive character training in Biblical principles. Moreover, students using the A.C.E. program go on to higher education and into ministry and professional pursuits with confidence and a superb educational background.

HOMEWORK

All high school students should be bringing their books home daily AND completing/exceeding their daily goals.
